Pyrula
Pre-release: the packages are not on PyPI yet, so pip install does not resolve. Build from source to try it today.

Pyrula

Pyrula runs durable workflows and LLM agents that survive crashes and resume where they left off. Over Kafka, an agent’s output and its offset commit can be bound into one transaction for read-process-write pipelines. Underneath is a fast, typed functional core (Either, Option, Try, immutable IList/IMap, Rust-backed serde) that everything is built on.

These three commands scaffold a workflow, start it with an in-memory store, and open its event stream in the local UI. They require no broker, API key, or account:

Terminal window
pip install "pyrula-workflows[ui]"
pyrula init --workflow
pyrula dev --open

Until the first public release the packages are not on PyPI, so the install step is a source build instead: see Install. The two pyrula commands are the same either way.

Each piece ships as its own package and depends on the core, so you install only what you use.

The Quickstart walks through what those three commands write and what the run’s event stream shows you.
